Collection: Indigenous Drums

Indigenous Drum Collection – the heartbeat of Mother Earth

Indigenous drums represent much more than an instrument: they embody the heartbeat of Mother Earth, the resonance of the living world, and the memory of the ancestors.

Each drum is handcrafted by Dave Verreault-Thisselmagan, an Innu craftsman from a family of drummers.

According to tradition, only bearers who have received the spiritual calling can make them.

Each creation is therefore a unique work, imbued with respect, intention and truth.

Made from Quebec deer hide and mounted on natural wood frames picked on the Nitassinan, these drums are designed according to ancestral knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

Their deep, vibrant and soothing sound accompanies ceremonies, meditation, singing and healing.

Each model has its own identity:

  • Natural drums reveal the purity of the material.
  • The dyed drums evoke the colors of the territory.
  • The hand-painted drums express spiritual visions inspired by animals and sacred symbols.
  • Custom drums are born from a unique intention, shaped with you.

In each creation, we find the strength of the territory, the wisdom of the gesture, and the presence of spirits.

These indigenous drums are not objects: they are alive, carrying energy, guidance and balance.

✨Each drum comes with its mallet and is signed by the artisan, guaranteeing an authentic, spiritual work rooted in the Ilnu culture.
