The Indigenous talking sticks of the coyote model are crafted from driftwood harvested on the shores of the Piekuakami (Lac-Saint-Jean). The wood is preserved in its natural form as much as possible, then hand-worked to create a solid and expressive base.

Coyote fur, with its naturally varied hues, gives each staff a strong and distinctive character. Genuine moose leather ensures the assembly of the components and enhances the piece's durability. The 100% natural feathers are carefully selected and positioned to maintain a cohesive visual balance.

Each talking stick is entirely handcrafted by Indigenous artisan Dave Verreault-Thisselmagan, without a fixed design or mass production. The visible differences from one piece to another are not forced aesthetic variations, but rather the very signature of the handcrafted work. Each talking stick is a unique piece, designed to carry the spoken word with strength and respect.
