A symbol of balance, connection, and respect for the cycles of life. 🪶
This Indigenous medicine wheel is handcrafted entirely from genuine moose leather, glass beads, and natural white feathers. Its 2-inch circle incorporates the four colors of the medicine wheel in a delicate creation that can be hung in a personal space, near a place of reflection, or simply wherever you wish to keep this symbol close.
The medicine wheel appears in various forms across many Indigenous traditions. While its teachings and significance may vary by Nation, it notably evokes balance, the four directions, the cycles of life, and our relationship with the world around us.
The moose leather provides this creation with an additional connection to the boreal forest and the natural materials used in our craftsmanship.
Each piece is handmade by Dave Verreault-Thisselmagan, an Ilnu artisan from Mashteuiatsh, making every wheel slightly different and unique.
