Sometimes, a simple object is enough to remind us of the strength of our own roots.
A delicate presence to accompany a new chapter of life.
The Spirit of the Object
Inspired by ancestral First Nations traditions, this 3-inch dreamcatcher symbolizes light grounding, a subtle balance between stability and lightness. It is designed to complement workspaces, meditation corners, or personal spaces. Beyond its protective function, it serves as a constant reminder of the importance of staying centered while allowing ideas to flow freely. By welcoming this creation by Dave Verreault-Thisselmagan into your home, you are showing respect for the Innu identity and choosing to inhabit your space with deeper intention.

The encounter between the raw material of the territory and the finesse of the artisanal gesture.
My signature as an artist – my creative process
Each dreamcatcher I create is handcrafted using a demanding artistic process, rooted in tradition yet open to contemporary aesthetics. It's my signature. It's what makes my pieces recognizable and consistent.
I select 100% genuine moose leather for its suppleness, durability, and the connection it represents with the animal. The design is intentionally minimalist to highlight the material, its balance, and its form.
The center is meticulously handwoven with natural thread. I incorporate semi-precious stones chosen for their presence and symbolism.
The feathers used are 100% natural: rooster, pheasant, partridge, bustard, goose, or other species depending on the artist's inspiration. Each feather is carefully selected to preserve the visual harmony of the artwork.
The design research is done in collaboration with Vicky, bringing a contemporary touch and a creative dialogue that enriches each piece.
Each dreamcatcher is guided by the inspiration of the moment. None are reproduced exactly. Each piece carries its own presence and its own symbolism.
Each dreamcatcher is a unique handcrafted piece.
